In Melbourne, Australia, there is a public research institution called the University of Melbourne. It was established in 1853, making it the second-oldest university in Australia and the first in Victoria. A number of other campuses are spread out across Victoria, with Melbourne’s main campus situated in Parkville, an inner suburb to the north of the city’s central business district. Melbourne University is a sandstone institution that belongs to the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, the Group of Eight, and Universitas 21. Numerous residential colleges have joined forces with the university since 1872. There are ten colleges situated in the area.

The purpose and advantages of the University of Melbourne Master’s Scholarship

The scholarship offers a one-time fee waiver of $5,000 or $10,000 along with a 25%, 50%, or 100% fee waiver for the length of the typical course.

Qualifications for University of Melbourne Masters Scholarship

In order to qualify for this award, you must:

Not be a permanent resident of Australia and not be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand
have submitted your application for a graduate coursework degree
being a first-time student at the University of Melbourne
Not receive any other scholarship or support for free tuition that, when combined with the IPCA, covers more than 100% of the cost of tuition.
not have received any other Australian government scholarship in the previous two years.

Graduate degrees that qualify include:

The Melbourne Business School, Melbourne School of Design, and Melbourne School of Engineering all offer coursework-based master’s degrees.

The Faculty of Science offers master’s degrees in biosciences, chemistry, earth sciences, ecosystem science, mathematics, statistics, and physics, as well as in biotechnology, data science, environmental science, geography, geoscience, urban horticulture, and forest ecosystem science.
Executive Master of Arts, Master of Translation, and Master of International Journalism degrees are offered by the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The Melbourne Graduate School of Education offers a Master of Teaching.
